Offset Printing

Offset printing or Litho printing is the preferred method used in larger printing runs whit particular CMYK colour needs and fine detail is required.

It is a more cost-effective method for larger quantities and outstanding quality. Colours can be matched closely to set design colours.

Offset printing is a common printing technique in which the inked image is transferred (or “offset”) from a plate to a rubber blanket, then to the printing surface. Each CMYK colour is printed separately, on a separate printing plate, and every layer added to the next makes up the final image. The cost per unit is much less, because the majority of the expenses are contained in the setup; the printing plates and machine setup. Offset printing gives a vibrant, high quality, precise colour images, and is excellent for reproducing the fine detail or photographic images.
