Paper

Choosing the perfect paper for your packaging project is significant. There are various paper options to choose from for multiple applications. With experience, you will get to know each paper and what properties it has. Your paper supplier will have the technical and chemical knowledge of the paper and can assist you in making the perfect choice

For wedding invitations and boxes, I love using a metallic finish paper. It gives a luxurious look and feel. Your invitations and additional wedding stationery like seating cards and programmes can be printed on similar paper. Various colour options are available from white and creams, to pastel colours to your intense dark shades. Adding detail like ribbon, crystals or embellishments will make the design look complete.

When you have a tight budget, we suggest regular coloured paper, most primary colours are available or wrapping paper with printed patterns like dots, stripes or elaborate damask patterns.

To create bespoke packaging for a tender, a catalogue or gift, one needs to consider the longevity of the product as well as the technical property of the paper. Cotton-based papers like Wibalin or Imitlin paper, are very specific to these applications. Both papers have a particular texture and are typically used in diaries, and will last much longer. The paper is lignin free and does not lose its colour over time. The Imitlin paper has a unique formula to help prevent oily finger marks which will help to give your packaging a high-end look.
